To this end, it is shown, first, that according to antique Persian handwriting, the mentioned forms are as the other spellings of Gawkil; then, it is suggested that "Kil" in this application is the equivalent of "Kaj" (in Persian means crooked), which is obtained by the combination of two words"Kaj& Kul" and is used in new Persian language.Based on the findings of this study, "Gawkil" is used to call a breed of a cow with long hair and a tail like horse tail that one of its habitats is some parts of large Khorasan.In Persian texts, it is also referred to as "Kaj’gaaw", "Ghaj’gaaw" and "Ghash’ghaa ". Considering the connotative meaning of "kej" in the Parthian language and "kil" in the ancient translations of the Qur'an, "Kaj’gaaw / Gaaw kil" can be considered equivalent to a rogue cow.}, keywords = {"Asar-olbagheye","Alzeyj-oljame’","yak" Alghanun-olmas’udi,"Gav-e kaj","Gav-e kil"veys-o ramin"}, title_fa = {پیش‌نهادی تازه دربارۀ معنا و صورت‌های نوشتاریِ «گاوکیل» در زبان فارسی}, abstract_fa = {در متون کهن، «کاوکیل»، «کاکیل»، «کالیل»، و «کاکثل» به یکی از جشن‌های ایران باستان و نژاد خاصی از گاو اطلاق شده است. هدف این مقاله بررسی این نشانه‌ها و بیان مدلول آن‌هاست. به ‌این منظور، نخست، با استناد به رسم‌الخط فارسی قدیم، نشان داده می‌شود که شکل‌های مذکورْ املاهای دیگری از «گاوکیل»‌اند؛ سپس، این نکته مطرح می‌شود که «کیل» در این کاربرد معادل کج است و ازطریق ترکیبِ «کج‌وکول» به فارسی امروز نیز رسیده ‌است. برپایۀ یافته‌های این پژوهش، «گاوکیل» برای نامیدن نژادی از گاو با موهایی بلند و دمی شبیه دم اسب به‌کار رفته است؛ یکی از زیستگاه‌های آن بخش‌هایی از خراسان بزرگ است و در متون فارسی از آن با نام‌های «کژگاو»، «غَژغاو»، و «غشغا» نیز یاد شده ‌‌است. باتوجه‌به معنای ضمنی «کژ» در زبان پارتی و «کیل» در ترجمه‌های کهن قرآن، می‌توان «کژگاو/ گاوکیل» را معادلِ «گاو سرکش» دانست.}, keywords_fa = {آثار الباقیه,الزیج الجامع,القانون ‌المسعودی,کژگاو,گاوکیل,ویس و رامین}, url = {https://classicallit.ihcs.ac.ir/article_3249.html}, eprint = {https://classicallit.ihcs.ac.ir/article_3249_dd9e2a7eeaf24ae04ae8fe6b5f0cad8f.pdf} }
